Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been accused of biting a woman on the arm and making anti-Semitic comments during an argument at his Los Angeles home on Dec. 31, 2024, according to court documents cited by TMZ.[1][2]
The woman filed an application for a temporary restraining order on Jan. 8, 2025, which was rejected by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge the following day.[1][2] A hearing on the matter is scheduled for April 14, 2025.[1][2]
Nacua's attorney, Levi McCathern, described the allegations as "nothing more than a shakedown attempt," stating that any mark from the alleged bite was temporary and did not require medical attention.[1][2] The Rams and Nacua's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
Nacua, a second-year wide receiver for the Rams after being selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Brigham Young University, previously drew criticism in December 2024 for performing a hand-rubbing gesture during a livestream with YouTuber Adin Ross.[3]
On Dec. 26, 2024, Nacua apologized via social media, stating he was unaware the gesture perpetuated an anti-Semitic stereotype and expressing regret for offending anyone.[3] Ross, who is Jewish, had described the movement as his personal "dance" or "emote."
